Meet Sheila Birth DDS

Dr. Sheila Birth’s passion is orthodontics. Seeing the changes that patients go through after a visit and treatment with her is the reason she became an orthodontist. Thanks to advances in technology, Dr. Birth is able to help patients with chronic headaches, migraines, tinnitus, and vertigo.

Dr. Birth and our dedicated team find joy in helping patients rid themselves of symptoms they might’ve been living with for years. Our friendly staff welcomes each patient as if they’re a part of our family.

Dr. Birth employs a drug and needle-free system that has literally changed the lives of our patients, allowing them to live pain-free. When treating our sleep apnea patients, Dr. Birth is able to notice a dramatic reversal when using orthodontics to expand a patient’s airways. This result is particularly seen in children who have ADHD, are most likely to stay up late, and are fidgety in school.

Dr. Birth has been married to her husband, Jim, since 1978. Along with their children, Brandon and Brett, she enjoys family activities such as traveling, playing golf and tennis, scuba diving, and snow skiing.

Dr. Birth – A Published Author

Dr. Birth is not only the leading orthodontist in the North Texas area, has also published a book about the curative power of orthodontics. Dr. Birth’s book titled The Orthodontic Cure was an Amazon bestseller the first week it was published.

Education

After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University, Dr. Sheila Birth went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. Subsequently, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Birth believes continuing education plays a major role in being a successful orthodontist. With technology always changing and improving, she feels it’s important to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics and sleep apnea treatments. Doing so allows her to offer patients the most effective and efficient procedures possible.
